Foreign media reports say that Iran has begun restoring internet access after nearly three months of restrictions.
According to those reports, quoting a post shared by the Iranian Vice President on X, internet services are now being reactivated in stages across the country.
The Iranian government suspended nationwide internet access on February 28 following the escalation of conflict in the Middle East.
At the time, authorities stated that the shutdown was aimed at preventing espionage activities and cyberattacks. The restriction has also been described as one of the longest nationwide internet blackouts ever recorded in the world.
