Foreign media report that 14 Lebanese civilians were killed and another 37 injured following attacks launched by Israel despite the ongoing ceasefire.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the dead include two women and two children.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military had issued warnings to residents in seven towns in Lebanon to evacuate those areas immediately.
However, Israel has also confirmed that one of its soldiers was killed during the clashes.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that strong measures would be taken to protect the country and its soldiers.
In addition, warnings have been issued that if Israel violates the ceasefire, retaliatory attacks would not be halted.
